Marina Morrison hosts a number of special events throughout the year. These events usually include trunk shows, designer showcases and sample sales.

What is a trunk show or designer showcase?

At our designer trunk shows, brides will have the opportunity to preview and be the first to purchase the latest gowns from a particular designer’s newest collection. These gowns are flown in (in trunks) from the designer’s studio specifically for these events. Brides will often have the opportunity to personally meet with the designer or their design representatives to make custom changes or modifications. Most of these gowns will not be officially available in stores for another 3-6 months, allowing our brides to be the first to wear them and be truly unique for their special day.

Designer showcases are special events we host throughout the year to feature specific designers that we represent. Gowns available during these events will usually be amongst the designer's best selling styles. Special incentive pricing may often accompany a designer showcase event.

What is a sample sale?

Several times a year, we may host a sample sale. During these events, brides will have the opportunity to purchase our floor sample on display at discounts up to 75% off the original MSRP. It provides brides looking to save substantial money or those who have fast approaching wedding dates an opportunity.
